The TCR Clone Screening Assay Kits allow the user to screen quickly and easily for particular TCR clones in established monoclonal T cells using simple gel analysis. The assay system can also be used to determine quantitatively the expression of TCR receptor genes when used with an appropriate gel analysis system, such as NIH-image. The band of interest from a particular screened clone can be cut from gel and purified for direct sequencing of the CDR3 region (purifying reagents not included in the kit). Systems are available for clone screening in 22 families (Human Vα 30 families) in the Vα or Vβ repertoires. The kits are grouped into kits for Human or Mouse, Vα or Vβ families, and cDNA or RNA as the starting point of the kit (see: Technology: TCRExpress vs. SuperTCRExpress).
